21.11.04 || swallowy brain thingy
inspired by the strangeness of the zoom quilt, i drew this:

the big mouth thing isn't very good but the weird sinuous things are ok.

20.11.04 || the zoom quilt
this collaborative art project is absolutely astounding. it's so surreal, with such amazing artwork and an original idea. it's like a fractal thingy.

anyway, have a look here.

19.11.04 || there's no reason to laugh at an idiotic fuck
i've just made a hilarious random phrase game, which can be found here. the title of this post is just one of the wise pieces of advice it generates.

11.11.04 || the root of all evil
the corporation is the most eye-opening, life-changing - and many other cliches - film. ever. after wearily trying to hold in all the facts it crammed into me, i have emerged with a new goal in life: a goal to convince people to see this film... oh, and bring down the corporation, of course, heh heh.

there are so many shocking examples of the endless ways in which the corporation has harmed us and everything on the planet. take the chemical bst that they gave to cows, which has drastic consequences for the health of those poor cows and subsequently the drinkers of their milk; take the attempts of fox to suppress the former fox reporters from exposing this to the public; take the fact that ibm knowingly sold computer systems to the nazis designed to help keep track of the millions sent to concentration camps - pure profiteering in the face of the greatest abominations the planet has witnessed.

imomus once said that the next cultural age we will experience will be posthumanism, when the lines will finally blur between manufactured and genuine organisms including us. well, that day is not so far away, as corporations now have the right to patent any organism or genome - save for human beings, so far - that they create under laboratory conditions, meaning they can own the blueprints of life.

now that i've expelled all this hyperactivity in my brain i'll just cut it as short as it can be cut at this point: see the film. fight the corporation. save the world.

ahhhhhh, now back to my ole brainless life.

this is a doodl i did illustrating pink floyd's eclipse (still a pink floyd nut). after a near-confiscation in maths and a near-loss back at home i felt i just had to post it here.

8.11.04 || LO
and now for a second post. something on the weeblnbob forums made me look back over some old photos that i did, and i've decided to show them off here. huzzah!

they're 4 versions of the word 'LO' written with various lights in a dark room in front of a camera with a long exposure.

a very late guy faux (whatever) post
many nights ago, now, i went in a mostly futile search for fireworks in my local park. didn't come up with much - just these peeks through the trees (last one's quite cool, i thought):

3.11.04 || sandwich day!
on this glorious day, everyone must make the best sandwich ever in celebration of the birthday of the earl of sandwich.

i made a three-tiered one with lime and chilli pickle, humus, turkey, and cheese:

it's a pity the day is spoiled by the apocalyptic news of bush becoming president again... the world is fucked.
