i'm going to see the dresden dolls at the cathouse, and i can't wait.
a very original and innovative band comprised of singer/songwriter/pianist amanda palmer and drummer brian viglione, their greatest genius lies in the lyrics. they also have a great energy about them which i suspect will make their live performances very incredible.
unfortunate choice of venue, although i suppose appropriate for the music. what i'd love to do is go dressed up as a mod.

the new series of the mighty boosh has started! i'm very excited, yet despite the first episode's hilarity, i can't help getting the feeling they've lost that special touch of the boosh. i just hope they recover it in the following episodes.

having had 13 hours' sleep following 38 hours of non-sleep. the 'sleepover' yesterday was very crazy. oomad took a bunch of us to his gran's house in a really dodgy suburb of glasgow. me, harihollyhamishonishonshon and robbie, bored of the sleepover itself where all the boring people were playing SSB:M, ventured out into the streets and did a gig for this incredibly bored and dour garage shopkeeper. harihollyhamishonishonshon played guitar and i juggled. then the three of us went back to glasgow, bullshitted about the conceptual meaning and deep profundity of graffiti writing we encountered, then collapsed in waterstones bookstore with some coffee and books.
