a fresh development.
i am very glad to have received a reply in the affirmative that the gramophone record offered in the issue that is mine shall now be sent to me! see following correspondence: ---------------------- to: bassettmusic from: krring subject: an injustice
Dear Sir/Madam, Upon the purchase of the latest 'The Chap' magazine, It was a pleasant surprise for me to glimpse the promise of a free shaving mirror, and a yet greater elation the discovery that this was, as a matter of fact, that musical trinket which is in our bemusing times given the acronymic title of 'CD'. Yet all too soon, the rush was abruptly cut short and reversed, as it became evident from the malleability of the periodic as i thoughtlessly rolled it up the better to stash it in my inside pocket that said CD was not present. And so I put it to you, good sirs, to soothe my crestfallen spirit by delivering, haste-post-haste, the proffered collection of audial delights. A warm thank you in advance, Albert Smithson-Bargers. -------------------- re: an injustice
Dear Mr. Smithson-Bargers,
This is indeed a lamentable state of affairs. If you would be good enough to forward me your postal address, I shall send the gramaphone recording forthwith.
Yours sincerely,
Paul Gunn. Bassett Music. ---------------------- i have sent away and soon much joy shall be experienced by heart and ears alike.
